Rig Pro Info Sheet:
Running Rigging Services
RigPro has been with us since Svea’s launch, constantly refining and upgrading our Southern Spars rig to keep us at the front of the J Class fleet. Whether racing in the Med or the Caribbean, their engineering and composite expertise makes them the go-to team for everything. They deliver under pressure, complete urgent repairs and offering real-time support during regattas to keep us safe and competitive. In short, professional, responsive, and easy to work with, RigPro is a true one-stop shop.
Throughout my time as skipper of Cannonball, Platoon and Alkedo, RigPro has been a trusted partner of mine. They've supported us through emergencies, upgrades, and routine services.
Whatever we need, wherever we needed it, they are always reliable and quick to help.
Rig-Pro have been a consistent ally to our program for many years. On large sailing vessels details really matter and their team understands that. Support for all things spar/rigging related are thoughtfully considered and well executed.
Team members are always respectful to the yacht and crew. Knowledge is openly shared. No task is too great or too small. It is a pleasure to work with such a specialized company that remembers that a satisfied customer is the true gauge of success.
The idea of fitting a 20-year-old Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 49 with a new carbon mast and V-boom often led my friends to ask: Why not just buy a new boat?
But since I am really attached to my yacht, it was important for me to find partners who could implement my idea professionally and to a high standard. With Hall Spars and RigPro, I chose the perfect team for this project.
I was impressed by the care and passion with which the guys from Rigpro carried out the installation of the new rig – many thanks to Ollie and Phil!
The collaboration was fantastic, and so is the result.
RigPro NZ delivered an excellent result on our refit project. From the outset, clear goals were set and the work was completed to a high standard. The project managers and the rig step/service team on the ground here in New Zealand were what really made the experience stand out.
Their expertise, organisation, and hands-on approach ensured a complex rig refit and multiple upgrades were completed on schedule despite several challenges along the way. The team went above and beyond to meet our deadlines and consistently delivered work of a very high quality.
They worked closely with the crew and were always available to answer questions or resolve any issues that arose during the process.
What also sets them apart is their support beyond the dock. The team was always willing to come sailing with us, even competing with us in our first ever regatta, while continuing to provide ongoing technical support whenever needed.
I'd be happy to work with Rig Pro NZ again.
